In March 2007, Amiena Moerat started with Community Connections as Senior Administrator. She has gained a wealth of experience in administrative tasks as well as in the NGO sector through her 13 year employment at SCAT. She has a certificate in project management and furthered her knowledge through various courses related to development work. |

The most recent addition to our practitioner team, Heidi Swart started as practitioner at Community Connections in July 2008. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Stellenbosch. Prior to her work at Community Connections, she worked as project manager for a capacity building programme for CBOs in the Stellenbosch/Franschhoek area, which she single handledly managed. |

Mzwabantu Pongolo is a development practitioner, who joined Community Connections in April 2008. He has previously worked for the TCOE, DAG, the Commission for the Restitution of Land Rights and at Ikhwezi Development Facilitators & Umhlaba Consulting Group. He has a national diploma in adult education, which he received at the then Peninsula Technikon. |
